Interested in contributing to the site and helping out other gamers in need? Here's what you need to know to get your guide on this site for everybody to see.
1. Anybody can contribute
2. We only accept video guides that are direct captures of gameplay (i.e. don't point your camcorder at your TV)
Check out our Recording Guide for info on how to set up a capture card for console recording, or use Fraps for PC recording
Text guides, picture guides, spreadsheets of character data, etc. are all OK too.
3. Email us (admin at nextgenwalkthroughs dot com)
Whether it be a text guide or a link to your YouTube channel, email us and we'll get your content online ASAP
Now that the rules are out of the way, here are some guidelines to help make your guides the best they can possibly be...
- Recording your guide on the hardest difficulty isn't required, but certainly encouraged.
- Split your guide up into reasonably small, appropriately titled clips, to make it easier for people using your guide to quickly find what they are looking for.
- Keep us updated on your progress by posting updates to your guide in the Current Projects forum
- Request an intro clip to put at the start of your videos. Send us an email (admin at nextgenwalkthroughs dot com) and tell us what game you're making a guide for, what username you want to show up under "Gameplay by:", a small avatar (optional), and any specific color requests you may have. - We WILL post duplicate guides, so if we already have a guide on our site and think you can do better, go for it!
Don't hesitate to shoot us an email with any questions you may have |
